A movement to act now and end homelessness in Denver

Spring Into Action Partners

Comcast

3,000 Comcast employees, friends and family will volunteer to help more than 20 nonprofit organizations in one day as part of Comcast’s ninth annual Comcast Cares Day. This year's signature event is our Metro Denver Food Drive, taking place at the Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria Campus on April 24. All donated food will be delivered same day to local food banks in the Denver area. At the same time across the country, a total of more than 50,000 Comcast volunteers will participate in this annual day of service, which is one of the largest single days of corporate volunteer efforts in the country. Comcast Cares Day is one way that Comcast helps power dreams and demonstrate a year-round commitment to making a difference in the communities it serves.

Concerts For Kids

Concerts For Kids (CFK) enriches the lives of children by raising funds for children’s health and education programs. With the help of 800+ volunteers, we currently assist over 40 charities in the Denver metro area with facility maintenance projects, ranging from landscaping and painting to major renovations, completing projects in one six-hour day. By combining philanthropy and entertainment, CFK has been able to donate over $1,000,000 in monetary grants and in-kind services since its inception in 2004. Community Day is May 22.

Denver’s Road Home

Denver’s Road Home (DRH) is a comprehensive program to end homelessness in Denver by creating opportunity and helping people regain control of their lives. In the first four years of our 10-year plan, DRH has developed over 1,500 new units of housing for the homeless and prevented over 2,000 families from becoming homeless. We are holding our 9th Project Homeless connect on May 22 and need 1,000 volunteers to make this a successful event.
